Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrustCaller website at trustcaller.com (the "Site") and the TrustCaller iOS application (the "App"), together the "Services," provided by TrustCaller ("TrustCaller," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What TrustCaller Does

TrustCaller helps you identify unwanted and spam phone calls. The Site lets anyone look up a phone number for free (subject to rate limits) to see community-reported risk information. The App additionally offers on-device call blocking and identification through Apple's Call Directory and Live Caller ID Lookup frameworks, and lets you report numbers as spam.

Risk information shown by the Services is drawn from user-submitted reports and public FTC Do Not Call complaint data. It reflects what other people have reported, not a verified fact about who owns or controls a number. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any lookup result.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. The Site does not require an account; premium features in the App are managed through your Apple account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the lookup or reporting features to harass, stalk, dox, or retaliate against any person;
  • Submit false, misleading, or bad-faith spam reports about a number, including to retaliate against someone or to suppress a legitimate business's number;
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the Site or App by automated means;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation or security of the Services;
  • Use the Services in a way that violates any applicable law, including telemarketing and robocalling laws.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms, and we reserve the right to remove or disregard reports that appear abusive, fraudulent, or in bad faith.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features (such as Live Caller ID Lookup, marketed in the App as "TrustCaller Plus") require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased in the App and are billed and managed entirely through your Apple App Store account:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal;
  • You can cancel any time in your device's Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
  • Except where required by law or by Apple's App Store terms, payments are non-refundable.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, text, graphics, and underlying software, are owned by TrustCaller or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Services except as the Services themselves allow (for example, viewing your own lookup results).

6. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third parties, including Apple (App Store subscriptions, call blocking and Live Caller ID Lookup frameworks), Google and Facebook (Site analytics), and the FTC's Do Not Call registry data. We aren't responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT LOOKUP RESULTS ARE ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BLOCK OR IDENTIFY EVERY UNWANTED CALL. TRUSTCALLER IS NOT A LAW ENFORCEMENT TOOL AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED ON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR ANY LEGAL, SAFETY, OR FINANCIAL DECISION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUSTCALLER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Site or App. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
